My little Picasso

In our last parent-teacher conference, Alex's teacher said he was doing great and at the top of his class in all areas.  The only activity that he (and many of the boys) never had any interest in, though, was Art.  So one day I brought home a bunch of construction paper and markers and since then, Alex has developed a passion for drawing.  Some days he and Adri spend HOURS coloring pictures.  It's so cute and really interesting to see his imagination at work. From cars & rocket ships to the EMP & Space Needle.  One week he was particularly interested in heaven and included  heaven at the top of all of his pictures!

Mmmm, food

It just doesn't seem right to have a blog about kids and not have the cute, learning-to-eat, food-all-over-the-face pics...

On the move

Look out world, Anna is officially crawling!

She's been scooching around on her tummy for a while but finally figured out the real crawling technique.  She is all over the place.  Especially if she sees her brothers playing with...anything.  Whatever the boys have, Anna wants.  It's early enough, the boys still think it's cute that Anna is crawling over to see them (and their toys), we'll see how long that lasts!

The biggest Feta I NEVER seen!

We have salad with dinner most nights and Brad frequently tosses Feta cheese into the salad.  Since discovering Feta, Tyler has fallen in love with it...it is easily his favorite food.  Salads for Tyler are now just an excuse to eat cheese.  He picks through the salad, finds a big piece of Feta and says "this is the biggest Feta cheese I NEVER seen!".  It is SO cute and we now use this phrase to describe things all of the time ("the biggest/smallest/funniest/etc. _______ I NEVER seen"...in a cute Tyler voice, of course)!
