The biggest Feta I NEVER seen!

We have salad with dinner most nights and Brad frequently tosses Feta cheese into the salad.  Since discovering Feta, Tyler has fallen in love with it...it is easily his favorite food.  Salads for Tyler are now just an excuse to eat cheese.  He picks through the salad, finds a big piece of Feta and says "this is the biggest Feta cheese I NEVER seen!".  It is SO cute and we now use this phrase to describe things all of the time ("the biggest/smallest/funniest/etc. _______ I NEVER seen"...in a cute Tyler voice, of course)!

Adri!

Adri is usually with us on our outings and when we are hanging out at home but since she is frequently the one taking pictures (she LOVES taking pictures and is a great photographer) she is rarely actually IN our photos.  We are so happy that she is here and love that she has become a part of our family!

Adri, Tyler, Michelle and Anna hanging out in the play room.

Adri & Brad made a classic Brazilian dish "Feijoada" (yummy) for Nana & Papa.

Adri and the family at an Everett Silvertips hockey game.

Silly Adri!

First Sounders game!

We FINALLY took the whole family to a Seattle Sounders soccer game (and Adri too! but she was the one with the camera taking pictures so you don't see her unfortunately)!  The boys loved it, especially since they have soccer class on Saturdays, so they thought it was cool to see big guys playing soccer just like they do out on the big field.

Big girl!

Anna is getting to be quite the big girl!  Now that she is getting more mobile, scooching around on her tummy, she is having a great time playing with her big brothers...just like a big kid!

Silly boys!

The pictures of the night started out nicely like this.

And, of course, quickly turned into this.

And this.

And this.
And ended like this.  :)

Pike Place Market & the Space Needle

One of the best things about having someone visit you from out of town is that it 'makes' you do all of the touristy things that your city is known for...things you haven't done in years and completely forgot how cool they really are.  Adrieli, our au pair from Brazil, has been here for about a month and so we decided to introduce her to the Pike Place Market and the Space Needle.  It was the first time Alex, Tyler or Anna have been up in the Space Needle...and a very long time since we had taken any of them to the Market.  It was such a fun day!
Adri, her friend Ling, Alex & Tyler having breakfast at the Market (hard to tell but awesome view of the water out the window!).

Calling all engines

One of our local fire stations had an open house and the boys were SO excited for their very first fire station visit.  The firefighters were great and let the kids climb into and through the fire truck.  The boys thought it was hilarious to climb through the fire truck, surprise the fireman on the other side, run all the way around the truck, climb in and do all over again...and again...and again...and again.  It was so funny to watch.
